July 4 - 6
We decided on a side trip to Alexandria Bay in the Thousand Islands instead of heading West in Lake Ontario, but broke up the trip by stopping in Sacketts Harbor. This is a great little harbor with a delightful waterfront town. We docked at Navy Point Marina, one that was recommended by AGLCA members. We watched July 4th fireworks from our aft deck. The next day the First Mate’s sister & brother-in-law drove here to meet us and have dinner in the garden at Tin Pan Galley. Val will join us on our boat for the trip to the Thousand Islands, while Carl will drive there.
