We had hot, beautiful weather while our friends Sarah & Gary Ullenbruch visited. They flew to Key West, taking a break from the very cold, nasty weather of Michigan. We docked again at Conch Harbor Marina in Key West Bight. The girls took advantage of the wonderful pool, toured Old Town, and shopped on Duval and surrounding streets while the guys did their own touring. Oh, so many bars here. We had some good seafood in nearby restaurants. Then on to an anchorage in Newfound Harbor, between Ramrod and Big Pine Keys. The girls had fun snorkeling at Looe Key Reef until confronted by a jellyfish. We had dinner at the home of Cheryl’s sister & brother-in-law, Val & Carl Moorcroft, who live on Middle Torch Key, and visited the local Tiki Bar. That was an interesting evening, with Captain and Gary exploring in the dinghy at night without a working spotlight. Then back to Conch Harbor to sun, shop, eat, & drink some more. Too soon, it was time to say goodbye to our friends until HOW ‘BOUT US arrives in Michigan in July.
